T homas Thomson is a leading fashion designer from Pretoria, South Africa. He started his career in 1990 as a student at The Kirsten Academy of Fashion in Johannesburg. It is here where he worked day and night and, as a reward, won "The Best Designer of the Year" award. He finished by graduating as one of the top students of the Academy.
This young man went from strength to strength and, in 1994, opened up his own studio and started the Thomas Thomson label. He now dresses 8 of South Africa's most well known celebrities and is featured in all the leading magazines and papers. Some of our countries' biggest celebrities such as Juanita du Plessis, Lizz Meiring and Amanda Strydom are regular customers of Thomas Thomson. Thomas enjoys creating glitzy evening gowns, suitable for any Oscar event. Wedding gowns are also his forte.
