About The SA School of Weddings: The SA School of Weddings has been setup to give potential wedding personnel, who are starting in the wedding industry, a good background and knowledge base and provide a benchmark of quality for all wedding suppliers to work towards. We have two study venues, one in Johannesburg and the other one based in Pretoria.
Course Outline:
The Advance Certificate in Wedding Planning has been designed by industry professionals, to equip future wedding planners in a career of wedding planning. It is a practical course which offers guidance in developing a successful wedding planning business, as well as the understanding the industry norms. The SA School of weddings offers an in-depth course to lead you step-by-step through the process of becoming a successful wedding planner. We have broken down all the elements of a wedding into lessons were you will be guided by your facilitator to give you the confidence you will need to be successful in this industry.

Duration: 4 months – Part Time One Evening class a week.
Support: The SA School of Weddings provides students who require assistance at any stage after the completion of the course. Students are able to bounce ideas around and seek guidance for years to come.
Certification: In order to receive a certificate in Advanced Wedding planning, you will be required to successfully complete two assignments set out by The SA School of Weddings. Naturally, students must also, in the opinion of the facilitator, meet the qualifications, standards, ethics, and ideals necessary to successfully and responsibly serve the client as a professional wedding planner.
